![]() ![]() I think it would be a good purchase if you are keeping this car long term as you say. They will get scratched and dinged and chipped and that's just life. I have customers who so badly want their daily drivers to be perfect but the real world is just too harsh on them. But all that aside a daily driver will never be a show car. The coating however probably shouldn't cost that much as it's only around $100-150 for product and the rest is labor. The price for the film sounds decent enough, I would have the back bumper done as well or at least the entire lip around the trunk because it will get damaged. All these things are what's going to keep your car looking brand new, not the film or the coating. That means washing it correctly every time, not parking it under sprinklers EVER, having a garage to park it in, removing bugs immediately after driving. But you have to understand that to get your moneys worth from these things you have to be %100 dedicated to caring for your car or else it really isn't worth it. And yes if you are absolutely serious about taking care of your car then I would do both the ppf and the coating. Just in general bad advice all the way around. ![]() Ignore the guy from the dealership saying no to both.
